We had a fantastic day and turnout to support the project, thank you to everyone who joined us for the social cycle/walk from Lochardil to the Smiddy Field at Knocknagael on the 19th of March. More than 80 people including families joined us, the event culminated at the field where we had lots of baking; seed planting organised by Incredible Edible; bubbles and face painting for kids, and enjoyed lots of talking! The idea behind this fun event was to show how easy it is to access the field on foot or by bike and how important it is to have spaces for food growing and walking close to us. The incredible turn out showed how this matters.
